UZIMA! returns to the DeBartolo Performing Arts Leighton Hall for a full-hearted evening marked by legacy and grounded in creative storytelling through music and movement. As UZIMA! continues to evolve and grow, embracing dreams that carry forward the vision of founder Kelly Burgét, the company presents Revival, a concert focusing on rebirth and renewal - both individually and communally. This performance extends and builds on the many regional celebrations of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. As we approach the 100th birthday of Mrs. Coretta Scott King in April, DPAC and UZIMA! invite you to join us on a transformative journey to reconciliation and creation of the Beloved Community.
This event is part of the Presenting Series' Cultural Collective, programming supporting equitable artistic development in our community.
